Health & safety guidelines

Before your appointment

  • Handyman will call client at least 15 minutes before he arrives at your home. Unless make readies or moveouts as arrangements would be made before hand and homes should be unoccupied.

  • Homeowner must be home at both the start and completion of the appointment.

  • Must receive consent and code (if any) from property manager to enter any/all rental properties.

  • Please put away any pet(s) for the safety of everyone. (failure to do so could result in cancellation of appointment)

  • Please remove as much furniture/items, as safely able to, from the work area; to let handyman see the full scope of work to be performed.

Scheduling and Service Policy

  • Full payment is due upon completion of each scheduled appointment.

  • Major projects will incur a deposit of 40% of the total agreed upon price.

  • After certain milestones are reached (on major projects, discussed and agreed to by handyman and owner (property manager) we will require a 30% payment of the remaining amount due.

  • After completion of major project the remaining 20% is due, and should be paid to avoid a monthly late fee.

  • Scheduled appointments requiring more than 8 hours to complete will be scheduled as separate appointments (not to exceed 8 hrs.) and subject to availability.

  • Appointments are scheduled based on our understanding of the homeowner provided project description. Upon arrival, your handyman will fully assess the project, and should the scope of work vary greatly from the homeowners provided description, the change of scope will be discussed with the homeowner for approval prior to commencing any work.

  • Handyman service does not include removal of construction debris. Our handyman will neatly pile any trash/debris on your property per your direction. Any removal of debris from the property will incur a fee of $150 dollars.

  • Homeowner must be home at both the start and completion of the appointment to discuss the project scope with your handyman, allow access to work area, and to approve the work upon completion.

    Payment

  • Payment in full is due upon completion of work (appointment).

  • We accept all major credit cards and cash. No payments from peer-to-peer apps (Venmo, CashApp, etc.). No checks.

  • Materials* + 10% mark-up: (invoice will be reviewed upon completion will show itemized materials purchased)

    *Materials/equipment can be provided by the homeowner at their own expense; however, a warranty with Solis’ Handiwork Handyman Services LLC. will be void for any owner-supplied materials. If the homeowner elects to provide material(s) the homeowner will be responsible for providing appropriate/accurate materials specific to job.
